‘Thumbs up for Charlie’ has been created in memory of a brave 5 year old boy who died after heroically battling an ependymoma brain tumour for three years.

Thumbs up for Charlie aim is to support other families living with or affected by childhood brain tumours offering respite breaks to make memories or simply to reflect .

Blue Bear & Co. was created in memory of the creators son, Charlie. After losing him, she searched endlessly for a teddy precious enough to hold a voice recording of Charlie, a heartbeat and a scent he loved. Nothing found offered all of these things together and nothing felt special enough for what it needed to hold.
